Anna + Cooper Engagement
Anna and Cooper’s engagement session was one of those that took a little patience—but ended up being so worth it. We originally had their session scheduled a few weeks ago and had to cancel thanks to nonstop rain. Then, when we had it back on the calendar for a Saturday, the weather forecast had other plans. We made a last-minute switch to Friday and crossed our fingers, and thankfully everything came together perfectly. Reynolda Village in Winston-Salem gave us the prettiest backdrop, and the soft, calm evening felt like a small reward after all the rescheduling.
These two have known each other since high school, but their story didn’t really begin until later in college—even though they went to different schools. There’s something really special about that kind of slow-burn love, and it showed so naturally during their session. They were completely at ease, laughing, talking, and soaking it all in. And of course, their dogs had to make an appearance too, which made the session even more fun and personal. I’m already counting down to their wedding next January and can’t wait to celebrate them again.
