Alicia + Walker

Last Friday was the perfect celebration for Alicia and Walker at The Waters Edge at Tart Farms. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be such a smooth and joy-filled day — and that’s thanks in large part to Ali. She is so much like me in that she’s incredibly organized and detail-oriented, which made everything flow effortlessly from start to finish.

Ali and Walker’s wedding day was full of laughter, love, and a whole lot of happy energy. Their large bridal party was such a testament to how deeply they’re loved by their friends — the excitement in the room was contagious! One of my favorite moments of the entire day was their first look. The instant they saw each other, you could just feel the nerves fade away. They were both so relaxed and at ease, and it was such a sweet, genuine moment to witness.

All day long, the sky stayed overcast and gray, and we started to lose hope for the sunset portraits we had planned. But right at the very last minute, as if on cue, we were blessed with the most stunning pink and orange sunset glowing across the lake. It was the perfect ending to such a beautiful day — one of those moments that feels meant to be.

Alicia and Walker’s wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are: thoughtful, joyful, and surrounded by love. I’m so grateful to have been part of their day and to capture every special moment that made it uniquely theirs.
