McLean Family

I had the sweetest time with the McLean family recently at Sycamore Lane in Ellerbe. The weather was beautiful, the light was golden, and their baby girl—who’s just shy of 6 months old—was all kinds of precious.

There’s just something about that half-year milestone. She was full of expressions, with those wide-eyed curious looks and the cutest little gummy smiles. I love capturing this age—when babies are starting to show their personalities but are still small enough to snuggle easily in mom and dad’s arms.

Sycamore Lane made the perfect backdrop for this session. The greenery was lush, and we found some dreamy little pockets of light that made everything feel soft and magical. The McLeans were naturals in front of the camera—laid back, full of love, and just so easy to be around. You can tell how much they adore their little girl, and it made my job so simple—just capture what was already there.

I’m so thankful I got to be part of documenting this season for them. These days go by so fast, and it’s always such a joy to freeze these fleeting moments in time.

Here’s a little peek into their gallery—full of snuggles, soft light, and baby giggles.
