Ali + Walker Engagement

I’m beyond excited to share the engagement session I had with Ali and Walker at The Waters Edge at Tate Farm. If you’ve never been to this venue, let me tell you, it’s an absolute dream. Nestled in the countryside with a huge, rustic barn, wide open fields, and breathtaking views overlooking the water, it’s a place that seems to have it all — charm, beauty, and plenty of spots for photos that’ll make your heart skip a beat.

Ali and Walker were such an amazing couple to work with. From the moment we started, it was clear how much they adore each other. You know that kind of love that’s just easy? That’s them. They had fun, laughed, and totally made my job easy by just being themselves.

We had a blast exploring the property. The barn at The Waters Edge is such a great backdrop, with its beautiful wood beams and timeless feel, and the wide-open fields give you the perfect natural frame for some seriously romantic shots. But if I’m being honest, my absolute favorite moments of the session were when the sun was just starting to dip below the water. The way the golden light reflected off the water and wrapped around them made the photos feel so romantic. It was like the entire scene was made just for them — the perfect light, the soft glow, and of course, Ali and Walker just looking stunning together.

As the sun sank lower, we captured those beautiful, dreamy moments with the warm, glowy background, and it felt like a little slice of magic. I’m so excited for their wedding next fall at the same venue, and I can already picture the gorgeous ceremony, the sunsets, and all those special moments that will make their big day unforgettable.
