Blanchat Family

There is something so special about getting to watch families grow, and the Blanchat family has become one of those families I always look forward to seeing.

I first met them last year when we celebrated Gray and Sullivan's third birthday. At the time, their baby sister, Charlie, hadn't arrived yet, so it was extra sweet to see everyone together this year as a family of five.

This year's session took place at the beautiful Sandhills Botanical Gardens in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The gardens are one of my favorite locations for family portraits because they offer so much variety—from beautiful flowers and winding paths to open green spaces that are perfect for little ones to explore.

Gray and Sullivan were celebrating their fourth birthday, and they were full of personality! Four is such a fun age. They were curious, playful, and kept everyone smiling throughout the session. Watching them interact with their little sister was one of my favorite parts of the evening. Charlie was all smiles and loved being included with her big brother and sister.

Of course, we also made time for plenty of family portraits with Mom and Dad. These are often the photos that become the most treasured over the years. Life changes so quickly, and it's such a gift to freeze these moments while the kids are still little.

One of my favorite things about photographing returning families is seeing how much has changed in just a year. Looking back at last year's gallery and comparing it to this one tells such a beautiful story of growth, love, and all the little moments in between. It truly reminds me why I love what I do.
