Causey Family

A generational family photo shoot is always such a special experience, but this one was especially heartwarming! I had the pleasure of capturing a wonderful family that’s all connected through the fire department, where my husband works with all the men in the family. It was amazing to see how the bond between them stretches across generations, from the grandparents all the way down to the tiny new additions—two adorable babies under a year old! There’s something about photographing a family that’s so intertwined in both personal and professional life that makes the memories feel even more meaningful.

Of course, with two little ones under one, there were plenty of giggles, sweet snuggles, and a few moments of baby chaos, but that just made the session even more fun. We focused on natural, candid moments, letting the babies be babies while the rest of the family shared some laughs and love. Family photos like these are always about more than just posing; it’s about capturing those fleeting moments of connection that tell a story for generations to come. This shoot was filled with so much joy, and I’m so grateful to have been the one to preserve those memories for this amazing family!
