Ericka + Troy Engagement

Sometimes a session comes together so beautifully.... the location, the couple, the vibe... that it sparks a fire somewhere within that reminds me of just how much I love this "job".

Meet Ericka and Troy! These two love birds became engaged in March and are tying the knot in just a few weeks in July. We decided to meet at the Alston House in Sanford, NC for their session. Only viewing this historical home online, we took a chance and decided to adventure to this little home in the middle of nowhere. And it just so happens that the risk was well worth the reward! Not only is the Alston House the perfect, quaint little backdrop with its wide porches, but the grounds are just as sweet as the home itself. Surrounded by hand-built wooden barns and buildings, brick walkways and corn fields as far as you can see, it's like stepping back into time when the days were simpler and slower.

Troy and Ericka met at church a few years ago, and Troy's dad, a former pastor, will be officiating their intimate ceremony. These two smile a little brighter and laugh a little deeper because their foundation is truly built on the "right stuff"- their love and dedication to the Lord. I can't wait to see where life leads these two in the days ahead! Congratulations, Ericka and Troy!
