Lana + Chris

Last weekend, I had the honor of documenting Lana and Chris’ wedding day at Whispering Pines, one of Henderson’s newer venues that just opened in 2024. It was the kind of day that felt meaningful from start to finish, full of genuine moments and the people who matter most.

All week, the forecast called for rain. The kind of forecast that makes you check the weather app over and over, hoping it might change. And somehow, it did. Right when we needed it most, the skies cleared and gave us the most perfect window for portraits. Everything felt calm, almost like the day unfolded exactly the way it was meant to.

One of the sweetest moments of the day was Lana’s first look with her dad. It was quiet, emotional, and full of the kind of love that doesn’t need words. Those are always the moments that stay with me.

And then, one of the most memorable parts of the ceremony that no one will forget. Just as things were getting started, it was realized that the ring had been left behind in the groom’s suite. What could have been stressful turned into something completely different. Someone ran to grab it, guests laughed, and Lana and Chris handled it with so much grace. It ended up being one of those perfectly imperfect moments that made the day even more personal.

That’s what I loved most about their wedding. Nothing felt forced or overly staged. It was joyful, relaxed, and centered on what truly matters.

Lana and Chris, thank you for trusting me to capture your day. It was an honor to tell your story.
