Our Family
Last week, we traded our normal routine for sandy toes, salty air, and the sound of waves crashing in the distance. Myrtle Beach has always been a favorite escape for us, and this trip was no different—it was a week full of sunshine, laughter, and the kind of moments I wish I could bottle up forever.
We spent hours with our toes buried in the sand and splashing in the pool, the kids making fast friends they’d race back to play with each day. Afternoons were for exploring—Wonderworks for some hands-on fun, a stop at Dave & Buster’s for games and prizes, and more than a few trips for ice cream. Bedtimes were late, the days were full, and our hearts were even fuller.
One evening, we set aside time for a few family photos on the beach. Nothing fancy—just us, the ocean, and the soft evening light. Looking at those pictures now, they’re more than just pretty shots. They’re a little reminder of this season of life and the joy of having that uninterrupted time together.
Myrtle Beach gave us more than just a vacation—it gave us a week of simple pleasures, belly laughs, and memories we’ll carry long after the sand is gone from our bags. And I’m already looking forward to the next time we can do it all again.
