Wedding Day Checklist

Hey there, beautiful bride-to-be! Your wedding day is going to be one of the most magical days of your life, and as you prepare for the big day, it’s easy to get lost in the excitement and details. But don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! As your photographer, I’m here to help make sure everything runs smoothly, and that means reminding you about a few important items you’ll need to bring with you. These little things will make a big difference in helping your day unfold without a hitch. So, let’s get into it—here’s your list of 6 must-have items to bring with you on your wedding day. Trust me, you won’t want to forget these!

  1. All Three Rings: You’ve worked so hard to pick out the perfect rings, and now it’s time to make sure they’re ready for your wedding day! Bring all three rings—the engagement ring, your wedding band, and your groom’s wedding band. I’ll need them for those gorgeous ring shots during your getting-ready photos, and trust me, you’ll want to have them handy when it’s time for the ceremony. Make sure they’re all polished and looking fabulous!
  2. Sentimental Items: Your wedding day is the perfect time to incorporate sentimental items that hold meaning for you. Whether it’s a handkerchief passed down from your grandmother, a watch your dad gave you, or any other keepsake that adds a personal touch, these items can make your photos even more special. Don’t forget to pack them, and I’ll make sure to capture their significance in your photos!
  3. All Jewelry (Including Hair Pieces): Jewelry can truly elevate your bridal look, so don’t forget to bring everything you’re planning to wear! This includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and—of course—those gorgeous hairpieces or combs you’ve picked out. Even if you don’t wear all the pieces, I’ll still want to take some close-up shots of them so they’re part of your bridal story. Plus, they’ll make your wedding day look extra chic in your photos!
  4. Wedding Invitations and Save-the-Date Cards (With Envelopes): One of my favorite shots is the flat lay—an artistic arrangement of your wedding details. This usually includes your invitation, save-the-date card, and sometimes a few other bits and pieces like a beautiful ring box or your shoes. These are the little elements that make your wedding uniquely *yours*, and I love capturing them in your photos. So, don’t forget to bring your invitation suite and any save-the-date cards you’ve sent out, along with the envelopes! They’ll make for some gorgeous photos!
  5. Veil (If You’re Wearing One): Veils are timeless, elegant, and totally photo-worthy, so if you’ve decided to wear one, make sure to pack it! I know, it sounds simple, but sometimes the veil gets left behind in all the wedding day excitement. I promise you—those veil shots as you walk down the aisle or share an intimate moment with your partner are going to be absolutely stunning.
  6. Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!: No one wants to forget their shoes—especially the ones they’ve spent months picking out! Whether you’re wearing heels, flats, or a more casual pair of shoes, make sure to bring them along. I’ll need them for a few shots before the ceremony, and they’re a key part of your bridal look. Plus, your wedding day photos will have that perfect finishing touch when they feature your full outfit, from head to toe. Don't forget to bring along your groom's shoes as well so I can put those in a few shots as well!
