Elianya + Charles Engagement

Last Saturday I met up with Elianya and Charles at Sarah P. Duke Gardens for their engagement session, and it was such an easy, sweet evening from start to finish.

These two have a story that really stuck with me. They both moved to the United States in early high school, met not long after, and have been together ever since. You can tell their relationship was built over time—there’s a comfort and steadiness between them that just feels natural.

Walking through the gardens with them felt more like hanging out than anything else. They laughed a lot, fell into step with each other without even thinking about it, and just genuinely enjoyed being together. Nothing felt forced, which always makes for the best kind of session.
